"Each man's life touches so many other lives." Come celebrate community and Christmas with a special screening of It's a Wonderful Life at Field Arts & Events Hall. Join us before the show for small bites, seasonal drinks, and live music with the Olympic Brass Quintet. Costumes, holiday sweaters, and seasonal dress encouraged! 

George Bailey (James Stewart ) has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all - and it's Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence (Henry Travers) - who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years.
 

The Olympic Brass Quintet, an extension of the Sequim City Band, shares the joy of life expressed musically through this peninsula-based brass ensemble. Comprised of a tuba, trombone, french horn, and two trumpets, these experienced musicians joined forces in 2024. Members include Seth Doherty, Tom Hartig, Craig Knutson, Nancy McPherson, and Daniel James. The Olympic Brass Quintet will perform holiday favorites prior to the start of the film. Live music available 5:15PM - 6:45PM.

Field Arts & Events Hall, the Field Hall Gallery and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 5PM with live holiday music and specialty cocktails and mocktails. Theater opens for seating at 6:45PM. It's a Wonderful Life will start in the Donna M. Morris Theater at 7:00PM. (1946) Rating: PG, Runtime 2h 10min. 

Food and beverages are available in the Sunset Lounge before the show. Food and drink are not allowed in the theater.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

Celebrate Pirate Week with Peninsula College and Captain Jack Sparrow! Field Hall is excited to partner with Peninsula College to celebrate our local students and get everyone into the swashbuckling spirit. Tickets for this show are FREE for Peninsula College students, $12 for adults, and $8 for youth. 

Capt. Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) arrives at Port Royal in the Caribbean without a ship or crew. His timing is inopportune: later that evening the town is besieged by a pirate ship. The pirates kidnap the governor's daughter, Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), who is in possession of a valuable coin linked to a curse that has transformed the pirates into the undead. A gallant blacksmith (Orlando Bloom) in love with Elizabeth allies with Sparrow in pursuit of the pirates.

Films @ Field Hall: The Wiz (Sing Along)

Celebrate Black excellence this February! Adapted from the 1974 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical of the same name, The Wiz is a musical fantasy which reimagines The Wizard of Oz. Featuring an all-black cast and incredible soundtrack featuring soul, R&B, and pop influences, The Wiz explores Black American culture in the 1970s. This is a sing-along event; lyrics will be projected onto the screen during the film. Costumes and theatrical attire encouraged!  

When Harlem schoolteacher Dorothy (Diana Ross) tries to save her dog from a storm, she's miraculously whisked away to an urban fantasy land called Oz. After accidentally killing the Wicked Witch of the East upon her arrival, Dorothy is told about the Wiz (Richard Pryor), a wizard who can help her get back to Manhattan. As Dorothy goes in search of the Wiz, she's joined by the Scarecrow (Michael Jackson), the Tin Man (Nipsey Russell) and the Cowardly Lion (Ted Ross).

Films @ Field Hall: Amadeus

Join us before the film screening at 1PM for a 45-minute presentation“Life and Legacy of Mozart”  with Olympic Music Festival Artistic Director Julio Elizalde. Boxed lunch available to pre-order at checkout. 

Amadeus is a 1984 American period biographical drama film directed by Miloš Forman, and adapted by Peter Shaffer from his 1979 stage play of the same name. Set in Vienna, Austria, during the latter half of the 18th century, the film is a fictionalized story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart from the time he left Salzburg. The film follows the life, success and troubles of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as told by Antonio Salieri, the contemporaneous composer who was deeply jealous of Mozart's talent and claimed to have murdered him. Rated PG; runtime 2 hours 40 minutes.

Celebrate Women’s Rights Awareness Month with the March sisters in Greta Gerwig’s Academy Award-winning 2019 adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic Little Women. Field Hall invites you to dress up in period inspired clothing and join us before the screening for small bites and specialty cocktails and mocktails in the Sunset Lounge.  

This heartfelt coming-of-age period drama follows the lives of the March sisters- Meg (Emma Watson), Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Beth (Eliza Scanlen), and Amy (Florence Pugh)- as they navigate growing into adulthood in Civil War America. Director Greta Gerwig’s 2019 adaptation was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actress (Ronan), Best Supporting Actress (Pugh), Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score, and won for Best Costume Design.  Rating PG; runtime 2 hours 15 minutes.

The Imperial Forces -- under orders from cruel Darth Vader (David Prowse) -- hold Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) hostage, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford), captain of the Millennium Falcon, work together with the companionable droid duo R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) to rescue the beautiful princess, help the Rebel Alliance, and restore freedom and justice to the Galaxy.
