Go Back Family Fright Night: Jaws

AUGUST 16 @ 7 PM | FRIGHT NIGHT AT FIELD HALL: JAWS (1975)
Donna M. Morris Theater at Field Arts & Events Hall
Pre-show free screening of THE HAUNTED HOUSE (1921 & 1929) in the Sunset Bar & Lounge

Join us for a brand new film series: Fright Night at Field Hall! Horror-lovers are invited to join us for a free silent film screening in the Sunset Lounge followed by a horror favorite in the Donna M. Morris Theater.

For this family Fright Night, we're keeping it PG with Jaws and pre-show screenings of the lighthearted silent spooks The Haunted House (1921, Buster Keaton) and The Haunted House (1929, Mickey Mouse). Junior jump-scare enthusiasts welcome; parents advised to check content warnings for Jaws.

When a young woman is killed by a shark while skinny-dipping near the New England tourist town of Amity Island, police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) wants to close the beaches, but mayor Larry Vaughn (Murray Hamilton) overrules him, fearing that the loss of tourist revenue will cripple the town. Ichthyologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and grizzled ship captain Quint (Robert Shaw) offer to help Brody capture the killer beast, and the trio engage in an epic battle of man vs. nature. Directed by Steven Spielberg.

Join us in the Sunset Lounge pre-show for dinner, drinks, and a free screening of the silent films The Haunted House (1921 and 1929). Enjoy our new August menu and a selection of seasonal cocktails and mocktails, crafted to enhance your celebration.
