Sunset Bar & Lounge opens 5PM

Adventure into a fantasy world a special showing of The NeverEnding Story (1984)! The Sunset Lounge opens at 5PM before the movie screening and will offer a seasonal menu as well as specialty cocktails and mocktails. Costumes and theatrical dress encouraged!

On his way to school, Bastian (Barret Oliver) ducks into a bookstore to avoid bullies. Sneaking away with a book called "The Neverending Story," Bastian begins reading it in the school attic. The novel is about Fantasia, a fantasy land threatened by "The Nothing," a darkness that destroys everything it touches. The kingdom needs the help of a human child to survive. When Bastian reads a description of himself in the book, he begins to wonder if Fantasia is real and needs him to survive.
 

Field Arts & Events Hall, the Field Hall Gallery and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 5PM. Theater opens for seating at 6:45PM. The NeverEnding Story will start in the Donna M. Morris Theater at 7:00PM. (1984) Rating: PG, Runtime 1h 34min. 

Food and beverages are available in the Sunset Lounge before the show. Food and drink are not allowed in the theater.
