American Ballet Theatre Studio Company brings the rising stars of the ballet world to Field Hall for a stunning showcase of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary work. This performance is the complete 90-minute showcase and evening performance. Click here for the an abbreviated 60-minute matinee designed for families.

ABT Studio Company, the junior company of American Ballet Theatre, is made up of 12-18 rising stars of the ballet world between the ages of 17 and 21. ABT Studio Company prepares these outstanding young dancers, who hail from all over the globe, to enter American Ballet Theatre or other leading ballet companies worldwide. Nearly 80% of current dancers in American Ballet Theatre are alumni of ABT Studio Company, including 8 Soloists and 14 Principal Dancers - among them Misty Copeland, Isabella Boylston, and Calvin Royal III. 

ABT Studio Company dancers perform masterworks of the classical and neoclassical canons alongside contemporary works. The group commissions a wide variety of choreographers to create new, custom ballets for the dancers each season, with a special focus on female choreographers.

Field Arts & Events Hall, the Field Hall Gallery, and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 5:30PM on March 7th. Food and drink will be available for purchase in the Sunset Bar & Lounge prior to the start of the show and to pre-order for intermission. Theater doors will open at 6:30PM for the 7PM performance. This event is appropriate for audiences of all ages. For young children, we recommend parents choose the abbreviated 60-minute family matinee.
