Greeter

Description: Occasionally we need assistance greeting patrons during our rental events, staffing booths at the County Fair/Crab Fest, & helping monitor access points during events.

Requirements: Greeters should be able to stand for up to 2 hours at a time, greet patrons with a smile, direct them throughout the facility, and answer basic questions about the facility. No experience required.

Ushers

Description: Ushers will help scan tickets, hand out programs, help patrons find their seats, sell merchandise, greet patrons & answer questions, and offer coat check during performances. Ushers may also need to assist to apply wristbands to patrons as they enter.

Requirements: You must be able to stand for about 2 hours at a time, you must be willing to stop patrons from breaking rules (bringing food or drink into the theater, using their phones, etc), and you must feel comfortable guiding patrons to their seats in the dark. No experience required, but we do ask that you attend an usher training prior to signing up for any usher shifts. Please contact gjohnson@fieldhallevents.org for more information.

Art Docent

Description: Art Docents help us staff our art gallery!

Requirements: Art Docents will need to be able to count the number of patrons attending the exhibit with a clicker, sell art & retail through Square, and answer questions about the exhibit. We ask that all docents attend the opening of each exhibit to recieve updated training and exhibit-specific information. No experience required; we can train you on all aspects of the job.
